Calling all alumni – June 30th is the deadline for nominations for Distinguished Alumni and Young Alumni Awards
Consider nominating a former classmate, friend or colleague who has demonstrated outstanding professional contributions, scholarly distinction and/or service to the community at large. There is a special award for Young Alumni (up to 10 years out) for their achievements and contributions. The online form makes the nomination process easy.
The Macdonald Distinguished Alumni Award was created by the Macdonald Branch of the McGill Alumni Association to recognize distinguished graduates for their outstanding professional contributions, scholarly distinction and/or service to the community at large. The first Awards were presented at Homecoming 2006.
In 2009, we were pleased to introduce the Macdonald Distinguished Young Alumni Award, which recognizes the achievements and contributions of our younger alumni.
We honour our Distinguished Alumni at Homecoming every year. However, due to the cancellation of on-campus Homecoming 2020 for ongoing health and safety concerns, nominations were deferred until Homecoming 2021.
There are many Macdonald alumni worthy of these awards – nominate someone today!
