Thanks to those of you who took the time to participate in our recent survey. We were thrilled to hear from graduates from all our programs representing classes throughout the decades. Your responses will help us tailor future newsletter content and programs of activity for alumni.
It’s clear to us that you have a strong affinity for the campus and for each other. Nearly 97% of us remain connected to the Faculty through its publications, our former classmates, or through volunteer, virtual and on-campus activities. Others help with student recruitment. Says one participant, “Whenever I visit friends in the West Island, I tour the farm, Arboretum, and Campus to encourage my children to attend.”
We hear your request for more stories about new technologies and research developments that touch on the environment, sustainability and climate change, food security, nutrition, and agriculture – as well as the Farm Management & Technology Program – and we plan to bring you more of these stories in the coming year.
With your input in mind, we hope you enjoy this FOCUS edition on Macdonald.
